Rejected: God’s Presence in Darker Times

evenindarknessReblogged post titled, “Rejected: God’s Presence in Darker Times” from Of Dust and Kings published April 10, 2012, is apparently no longer available at this time which is too bad as it was an excellent article. I’ve tried locating it on the new website (moved from the original site location) but couldn’t find it (the new site is located here). My comment below was written in response to that blog post.

For those who are feeling rejected for whatever reason today, this is a very good reminder that God seeks out those whom others (and yes, even other Christians) have rejected. He makes a way when others don’t care, and He is always available to the broken and seeking heart. Always . . . .

For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son
into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned,
but whoever does not believe
stands condemned already
because they have not believed
in the name of God’s one and only Son.
~John 3:16-18
